In this activity, you will create a fake Instagram story to practice your English skills. You will respond to the question "What are you doing right now?" by sharing a photo or drawing and writing a short description in English. This will help you improve your writing skills while having fun!
Instructions:
Think about what you are doing right now.
Imagine you are posting on Instagram. What would you be doing at this moment? It can be something fun, silly, or even something impossible! The more creative, the better.Create a picture for your story:
You can either:- Draw a picture of what you're doing, or
- Find a photo (if you're using a digital device, you can upload it).
Write your caption:
Under your picture, write a short sentence or two that explains what you're doing. Use the phrase "I am" for the present continuous tense. Example:
"I am eating pizza in the sky!"
"I am swimming with dolphins in my living room!"Post your story:
After you have your picture and caption ready, post it in the forum for your classmates to see!Engage with others:
Look at your classmates' stories and comment on at least two of them. You can write something like:- "Wow, that's so cool!"
- "How did you swim with dolphins in your living room?!"
Example:
- Picture: A drawing of me flying with wings.
- Caption: "I am flying over the city right now! 🚀"
