Are you visiting London for the first time? I have some advice for you. Do
avoid Oxford Street completely. Hit up some street markets, because
London has some brilliant ones. And definitely don’t tell anyone you’re
coming, to have more time to eat your way through the city. Try an oldschool full English breakfast. It is huge with fried eggs, sausages, tomatoes,
mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, fried bread and often buttered
toast - and the tea is strong. Find a street food market for lunch and
grab a bite of some cheap international street food. Alternatively, try the
traditional fish and chips with mushy peas and curry. It’s popular at any
time of the day. Fancy an authentic bite of Indian food? London has no
shortage of it. Any tikka masala, curry or tandoori would taste as authentic.
Just have a bite.
